UNE Manitoba and Saskatchewan Regional Seminar
You are invited to participate at the UNE Manitoba & Saskatchewan Regional Seminar, scheduled to take place at the Fort Garry Hotel from March 24 to March 26, 2026.
This seminar is for participants from the Prairies UNE Regions:
UNE Regional Seminars offer focused presentations, workshops, and training to equip you with the knowledge and tools to support your members and understand how your union operates. They are also an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow activists and build lasting relationships.
UNE will fund two (2) participants and an additional (1) Young Worker participant per Local:
- The Local President or designate.
- A member who has not previously attended a seminar should be given priority.
- A Young Worker member (age 35 or younger as of December 31, 2026).
Locals should also encourage the participation of members from equity-seeking groups. Locals may also send additional members at the Local’s expense.
Participants will be expected to arrive for onsite registration at 6:00 p.m. Monday, March 23rd. Accommodations will be arranged for delegates to spend three nights at the hotel for the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights of the Seminar as some activities are scheduled to take place into the evenings. The Seminar ends on Thursday, March 26, at 12p.m.
Applications must be received by Friday, February 20, 2026. Late applications will unfortunately not be accepted.
